Who we are
Satellite Feng Shui is operated by METRO YANG PTY LTD (ABN 45 663 592 943), Adelaide, South Australia. We are the organisation responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: support@satellitefengshui.com.
What we collect
- Address or compound name you submit for a survey — used to locate satellite imagery and road data.
- Birth details (date, time, gender) — used only to compute your BaZi chart and personalize readings.
- Photos and floor plans you upload for a paid report — used only to produce that report.
- Email address — used to deliver your reading or report and, if you subscribe, membership emails.
- Basic anonymous usage analytics (page views, country, device type).
- First-party aggregate funnel counts for public page and sample views, preview-entry clicks and subsequent survey and checkout steps, by public guide/page, language and broad referral channel. A 30-minute attribution window is kept in browser session storage and refreshed by site activity. The most recently read guide receives credit; no name, submitted address, birth details, query string or full referrer URL is included in these counters. This browser attribution is skipped when Do Not Track is enabled. Checkout source labels are included in Stripe metadata so confirmed payments can be attributed; hashed checkout-session receipts prevent duplicate counts. These are event counts, not unique-person profiles.
How it is used
Your inputs are sent to our charting engine and to AI providers (Anthropic, Google) solely to generate your reading. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card number.
Storage and retention
Reports and their inputs are stored so your private report link keeps working. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us; we will remove your reports, photos, and birth details within 14 days.
Automated generation
Surveys, readings and reports are produced by software and AI models from the inputs you give us. No person reviews them unless you buy the Master-Reviewed report, which a human practitioner checks before delivery. If you think an automated result is wrong, email us and a person will look at it.
Where your data is processed
We are based in Australia, and the services we rely on process data in other countries, mainly the United States: website hosting and database, AI providers (Anthropic, Google), payments (Stripe), email delivery, bot protection, and map and imagery providers. Addresses in mainland China typed in Chinese are also sent to a mapping provider in China (AMap) to locate them. We send each provider only what it needs for its task.
Emails
We email you to deliver what you asked for. If you leave your email with a free survey, we may send one follow-up email about it. It says who we are and how to stop: reply "unsubscribe" or email us, and we will not write again.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you: support@satellitefengshui.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer and you are in Australia, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). If you are elsewhere, you may contact your local data protection authority.
